JPS provides a range of Allied Health Services to deliver therapeutic supports to participants and provide evidence, assessments and reports that inform access and planning decisions made by NDIA delegates (planners) under the NDIS Act.
The range of Allied Health Services JPS can deliver covers the following:
Occupational therapists
Our occupational therapists can complete Functional Assessment Reports to support your application to the NDIS, as well as providing ongoing therapies and AT assessments.
Our team of occupational Therapists will come to you so you can receive your therapy in the comfort of your own home. Our personalized support plans will help you thrive at home, in the community and at work. We will work with you to help you achieve your goals and live life your way.
Dietitians
Our experienced team of dietitians come to you to provide you with the support you need in the comfort of your own home.
We are experienced working with people with all types of disabilities and can support you with all of your nutritional needs.
We work collaboratively with you, your loved ones and people who are important to you to ensure you receive the best nutritional support to meet your needs.
Exercise physiologists
We all benefit from regular activity and healthy eating. Our exercise physiologists can support you to implement healthy habits to improve your strength, coordination, balance and endurance which then has a positive impact on your mental health.
We will work with you within your home or the local community. Our personalised programs are tailored specifically to your needs and to help you achieve your goals.
Physiotherapists
Our team of highly skilled physiotherapists will work with you in your own home or in the community to achieve your goals. Our team is experienced in working with people of all ages, across all walks of life.
Our physiotherapists can provide support with injury management, pain management, balance, exercise plans, strength and mobility as well as all assessments and reports for the NDIS.
Podiatrists
Maintaining nails can be a challenge. We are here to help and will come to you to offer nail and foot maintenance in your own home.
Our podiatrists will work with people of all abilities to assist in keeping your feet as healthy as possible.
Psychologists
Our experienced team of psychologists work alongside you to achieve positive outcomes.
We will create a personalised program tailored to achieve the best possible outcomes for you. We believe in an inclusive and collaborative approach and will work alongside you and the important people in your life.
We offer clinical assessments and evidence-based intervention. Based on the outcome of those assessments, our clinicians will write reports and recommendations specific to NDIS requirements.
Behaviour support practitioners
Our highly experienced team of Behaviour Support Practitioners will work alongside you to improve your quality of life. Behaviour Support is provided to people who display “Challenging Behaviours” We will spend time with you to gain knowledge of you and your environment so we can better understand the reason behind the behaviours displayed.
We believe in a collaborative approach and will work alongside you, your support team and the important people in your life to create a comprehensive positive behaviour support plan.
We will train your support team in how to implement this plan in order for you to get the support you need, when you need it.
Speech pathologists
Being able to communicate effectively with those around us is an integral part of life. Our speech pathologists will work with you to give you the best possible chance of being able to do just that.
We have experience working with people with swallowing difficulties, speech difficulties and alternative forms of communication and can offer assessments and reports for the NDIS as well as ongoing therapies.
